They do such a great job of walking you through all the basics, bet leaving out any steps which is essential for a beginner.
The last thing you want is for a book or tutorial to skip small steps, assuming you should already know how to do them, and these books definitely do not skip details and how-to's.
Each time a step is needed, it tells you exactly how to perform the step so that you don't have to go back through daobe book to remember how something was done.
