Windows 10 japanese ime not working free.Japanese IME does not work; unable to switch to Hiragana
I installed a Japanese language pack on my computer. However, upon attempting to switch keyboards to Japanese, the language bar on my taskbar immediately disappears. If set to English, it says EN as normal. This happens when manually clicking on the language bar as well. What's going on here? I've tried rebooting and checking for updates, but nothing works. Fix: Japanese Keyboard IME Not Working on Windows 10 | Windows Boy
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums. Do you get error when you try to install other language packs? This issue could occur when Windows installation services failed or the previous installation is corrupted, you can try the methods provided below to further narrow down the root cause of the issue. Method 1: Check Windows installer service. Type in services. On the services Window search for Windows modules installer service. Right click and restart it, do the same for Windows installer service.
Now try to install the keyboard language and check. Method 2: Command to uninstall pervious language pack installed. Search for CMD on the start menu. Right click and run as administrator. You will be presented with previous language pack installed. Click on Japanese language and click Next to uninstall it. Try to reinstall the language pack again and check. Method 3: Update Windows and check. If you still face the issue, I suggest you to Update Wind ows and check if that helps you.
